Smozzy, the Web Browser that doesn't use any of your data

Unlimited data plans are going away now (sniff), and many of us are forced to have to pay a $30 for 2GB that was once unlimited. Smozzy gets around this using a different method: SMS and MMS! Here's how it works: it resembles a normal web browser but sends info to Smozzy's servers and then sends it back via MMS. Wait, it gets better. Smozzy then grabs all of the files from the requested page and puts them in a .zip file. It then converts to .png and is then received as an MMS before it is displayed in the browser. And it's free! The Con: It only works on T-Mobile, but hopefully it'll expand and work with other carriers soon. My guess on this is that since T-Mobile is number four among the Big Four, they using as like a test site son that it won't overload their servers.(Keep in mind this in Beta) .Here's the link to the Market: https://market.android.com/details?id=com.jeffdonahue.smozzy&feature=search_result

Kt's Spider Concept Phone,laptop

The Motorola atrix 4G has one of the most interesting concepts in mobile. The ability to dock with a in the back of a special laptop dock, turning it into a kind of Chrome OS for Firefox, soon to be on the Droid Bionic. Well KT, a Korean company, has come out with three accessories that work with their 4.5 inch Android 2.3 device. the lapdock adds a qwerty keyboard, a desktop UI, with the phone itself acting as the trackpad.
There's also a tablet that blows it up to 10.1 inches while adding a few tablet-friendly tweaks. Lastly, there's also a gaming dock with a D-Pad.

 The phone is on par with most specs of today:

* 1 GB of RAM
* 16 GB of internal memory
* 1.5 Ghz dual-core Qualcomm CPU
* Screen Resolution is marked at 1280x800 resolution(!)
* It's pretty thin; only 0.37" thin

Welcome!

Welcome to the Gadget-Less Geek! This is a blog about stuff that happens in the tech world(mostly in the mobile space, since I love phones.) The reason the blog is named as it is, you may ask? Well, despite all the smartphones out there in the world, I don't have one. So you see way this blog is named why it is named.
I also want to say that is not a relation to the other blog similarly named on this service.
     So what can you expect from me, you wonder? Well, I hope to publish a post at least every day of the week, and maybe further down the road, perhaps a podcast! Hey, there's solo pod-casts out there right?
      I don't know how things will turn out, but I figure it's worth a shot.

                                                                                                                        Sincerely,
                                                                                                                                           duke82722009
(That's my blog name.)
